At my appointment last week, Dr. B decided to take me off my medicine pump this past Sunday to see how I would do. When I got to the office on Monday morning and was hooked up to the monitors, I was having contractions every 3-4 minutes. Yikes! Not quite what we were expecting, so I am back on the pump for one more week. In light of what we saw, I am SO thankful for how well the medication has been working!
Throughout the monitoring Mike and I also got to hear the sweet sound of Gracie's heartbeat "galloping" away, and were highly entertained by our little girl's antics. I was instructed to press a button each time I felt her move, so when she kicked, my stomach would "jump" and we would hear a "boom" sound on the monitor. I would then press the button, and she would respond with another "boom boom". I think we were laughing the whole time. At almost 6 pounds she is a strong one and likes to make her presense known!
We have waited and waited for this baby, and it won't be too much longer now! Our sonogram showed that Gracie Beth is head down, although she hasn't dropped yet, and I am dialated to 1 cm. So when I permanently come off my medication on Monday, there is a very good chance that she could come as early as next week!

You are definitely in our prayers. Love you.
