It took a lot of faith and a great deal of courage, but we finally began preparations for Gracie's nursery. The first step - painting the walls.
You probably noticed that our baby girl isn't going to have a pink room. Truth be told, I am not a huge fan of tons of pink. I like blue. And let me tell you, trying to find blue bedding for a girl has been quite a challenge. (But we will get to that later.)
I love how the color turned out! The picture doesn't quite do it justice, but it is a very light aqua. Very soothing and tranquil.
The perfect color that is sure to calm Gracie right to sleep. (Wishful thinking, I know!)

Reese's room is blue too! I thought it was purple but then we put other colors in there and suddenly it was blue! Can't wait to see the rest of Gracie's nursery!
After having two boys there isn't ANY way I wouldn't have pink in a girls room. I didn't feel that way 11 years ago when I had Michael, though. It's just a result of being surrounded by boys. :)
That's about the same color as Nora's nursery and I love it! I'm so glad you got started on the nursery...way to go mama!
I love the color! Im not a fan of pink either, so I love what you have decided to do:-) Can't wait to see more pics soon!
