Thankful Thursdays

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,

for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

God tells us that in all our circumstances there is something we can be thankful for. In the good times it is easier to see God's blessings, but even in the bad times there is something we can thank God for. I am starting a new weekly post called "Thankful Thursdays". Each Thursday I want to share what I am thankful to God for through the week, and I invite you to do the same. I don't know about you, but I don't always recognize the many, many things God does for me on a daily basis, and I certainly don't thank Him as often as I should. So I thought, if I am looking for the ways God is working in my life, then I won't miss any more opportunities to show Him my gratitude.

Since you read my blog, you know God sure has been busy in our lives these past two weeks. Here are a few of the things I am thankful for:

I am thankful for the blessing of a pregnancy from our first IUI procedure.

I am thankful for each day God has given us with our baby.

I am thankful for all the prayers lifted up on our behalf.

I am thankful for peace that passes all understanding.

I am thankful for all the love and support from our family and friends.

I am thankful for the care and compassion of my doctor.

I am thankful that God is always with me; He promises never to leave me nor forsake me.
