"Make a joyful noise to the Lord." Psalm 100:1
For Christmas, Mike and I gave our friend's son Ryan a We Sing Bible Songs CD.
His mother has told me on several occasions what a hit it has been. They can't go anywhere in the car without listening to it. And he has one favorite song that they have to play over and over again.
So today, as I am talking to Ryan's mom on the phone, I hear a noise the the background. It starts off soft, and then grows louder and louder and louder. When I finally realize what it is that I am hearing, I stop talking and a smile starts to spread across my face.
It is the sound of a 4 year old belting out Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide.
I am so thankful to have heard the sweet, sweet sound of a child singing praises to the Lord.
